Dileepa Marasinghe

Dileepa Marasinghe is the AI-RAN Research Manager at 6G Flagship, where he serves as the main coordinator of key projects and oversees partner relations in AI-RAN. He is also the Principal Investigator from the University of Oulu in the SNS JU EU-ROK project 6GARROW. In addition, he is the main representative for 6G Flagship and the University of Oulu in the AI-RAN Alliance, fostering collaboration and driving innovation at the intersection of AI and RAN. He received his B.Sc. (First Class Hons.) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, in 2018, and his M.Sc. and D.Sc. in Wireless Communication Engineering from the University of Oulu, Finland, in 2019 and 2025, respectively. Dileepa has contributed to several Finnish and European research initiatives, including Hexa-X and Hexa-X II. In 2022, he was with Nokia Bell Labs, Stuttgart, Germany, from June to November as part of his doctoral research. In 2023, he was also with Nokia Standards, Oulu.
