Domenico Giustiniano

Domenico Giustiniano is Research Professor at IMDEA Networks Institute, where he leads the Pervasive Wireless Systems Group since 2013. Before joining IMDEA, he spent four years in industrial research at Telefónica Research and Disney Research, followed by a postdoctoral appointment at ETH Zurich. He holds a PhD in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata (2008). He is leader of the open-source OpenVLC project on visible light communication systems. His current research focuses on battery-free IoT, unmanned aerial networks, and 6G localization.
