Federico Civerchia

Federico Civerchia serves as 5G Technical Director at SMA-RTY Italia, where he leads the 5G BU. He has a BSc and a MSc in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Marche, Italy. Then he got a PhD in Embedded Systems at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Italy and he is also PMP certified from PMI (Project Management Institute). Throughout his carrier, Federico worked in the field of 5G and AI technologies. He specialized in the dynamic hardware acceleration of 5G functionalities, enhancing the efficiency and performance of these networks. Additionally, he also worked on parallelization of data processing for the optimization of the computational speed in 5G environments. Federico's research extended into the realm of artificial intelligence (AI), where he developed AI algorithms designed for smart city applications. He is the co-author of 10+ international publications that explore various aspects of AI and 5G networks.
