Guido Casati

Guido Casati received his M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Roma Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy, in December 2013. He completed his master's thesis at the European Space Research and Technology Centre, Noordwijk, The Netherlands. In June 2018, Guido joined Fraunhofer IIS, Erlangen, Germany, as a Research Associate. Since then, he has been dedicated to the implementation of the 5G New Radio standard in a large spectrum of R&D projects, focusing on the OpenAirInterface software stack. In January 2024 he joined the OpenAirInterface Software Alliance team as a senior member.
