Tarun Chawla

Remcom founded in 1994 in the Electrical Engineering Dept on the campus of Pennsylvania State University. Professor Raymond Luebbers, Scott Langdon and Chris Penney pioneered FDTD and released the world's first commercial time-domain EM solver. For 30 years, Remcom software has enabled the production of 2 billion electronic devices sold. From the Moto Razr, to the first 5G FR2, 5G FR3 propagation trials, the company's software is used for antenna design for cellular devices, automotive radar, MRI coil design and more. Remcom is on the forefront of Computational EM and committed to lead accurate 3D channel modeling for 6G. Tarun has spent 15+ years at Remcom in various roles and is leading the direction for next-generation simulation tools.
